The IT Business Partner's primary responsibility is to ensure that Adevinta business needs and requirements are properly met and represented through a shared service portfolio.
The position holds responsibility for providing linkage between business unit needs and IT by facilitating effective communication, planning, and decision-making pathways.
This mission critical role is placed within the BITS (Business Information and Technology Services) team, in charge of supporting Adevinta Central Functions and Marketplaces in the achievement of its goals with seamlessly integrated and resilient business information and technology services, as well as providing guidance on new trends in productivity and business process automation.
Your skills and qualifications include :
Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives, with excellent IT and business judgment
Strong organizational, problem solving, and planning skills with the ability to set priorities
High business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into a tangible IT Roadmap
Ability to quickly build relationships and establish credibility across the shared service function and with business leaders
At ease within a matrix organization, and can demonstrate an understanding of what this entails
Experience in influencing, coaching and advising global senior managers
Being able to operate based on use cases, MVP and iterative cycle. Promote agile approach with stakeholders
Must show initiative, proactively finding, analysing and solving problems in a hands-on and pragmatic manner
Structured, result-oriented; who demonstrates a will to drive things forward, and make sure decisions are made and followed through

It would be great if you would also have :
Prior experience supporting IT business relationships, project planning and execution, deployments, IT strategy and roadmap development, IT portfolio management in a global environment
Project Management, Information Technology, Business Management or Vendor Management experience
Understanding of advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts related to requirements, data, usability and process analysis
Expertise in budget planning and financial management
Experience with contract and vendor negotiations
Your main responsibilities will be :
Ensure that all Adevinta employees have the technological tools they need for their work, optimizing cost and promoting best practices
Ensure that the technology gives the best support to internal processes, in order to achieve business goals
Ensure performance management practices are adopted by leaders and across functions
Be the go to person for organization you're serving when it comes to Global IT
Establish and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders in organization you're serving
Identify the needs of different areas according to the global strategy of Adevinta
Prepare and maintain the strategic systems plan for the different areas
Coordinate the implementation of the plan's actions, involving when necessary different external solution and service providers
Focus on understanding how services that are provided meet the requirements of the business unit
Identify how the business unit uses services and make recommendations on how to optimize its usage
Coordinate with other Adevinta Business Partners and other members of IT Governance to align the needs of Enterprise -Tech across Adevinta
Oversee management of key business operating metrics and processes, including preparing meetings across Adevinta business and IT teams
Become an expert on a given IT business unit and function as a business partner for cross-functional projects and initiatives
Measure levels of customer satisfaction and respond to any drop in satisfaction with suitable action plans
Manage the relationship with suppliers and negotiate the conditions of the services
Ensure that the expected processes for the acquisition of technological tools are followed across Adevinta business and IT functions
Full engagement with the business unit so that they understand the way a service is presented and ensuring that commitments from all sides (business unit, vendor, and IT) have been fulfilled
Collect market intelligence and form perspectives on competitive trends, industry challenges, and evolving market needs
Track technological trends and new technologies that become available and ensure that the business units understand how they might leverage this to accomplish their objectives
