Business Relationship Manager

This Business Relationship Management (BRM) role sits within Digital & Transformation Services (DTS) organization. DTS is a transversal worldwide internal organization offering technology, data and solutions as an internal shared Digital service provider for all Amadeus.

Purpose of BRM is to maximize value delivered from digitalization by :

Defining the best Digitalization Strategy to support Business Strategic Objectives

Ensure the strategy is executed, by supporting the set up of the needed initiatives and monitor its execution.

Internal account management with Business Top Management is also a responsibility of BRM, as a key enabler for the Digital Strategy definition.

This role is focused on executing such a purpose for Amadeus Travel Distribution Business Unit, and more concretely, for the area of Analytics and Global Template.

In this role you’ll

1. Define Digital Strategy

Understand BPs business objectives and align DTS service portfolio accordingly.

Support BPs in the definition of their Digital Transformation strategy and automation roadmap required to achieve their business objectives.

Articulate the Digital Transformation roadmap into qualified and executable projects and assure DTS portfolio, resources and budget are aligned with those (example of projects : CRM Salesforce implementation, development of portals, customer service automation through ServiceNow...)

2. Ensure Strategy is executed

  • Lead and / or support the initiation / assessment of new digital initiatives (projects & Services) from the agreed Digital Transformation roadmap : set objectives / scope, support business case, agree technical solution (with support of DTS architects), structure and plan;
  • risk / issue mitigation, business decision making to secure the project to go ahead.

    Support kick-off of approved Digital Transformation projects and hand those over to the teams in charge of their execution.

    Follow up the execution of the portfolio and set-up relevant governance.

    Offer to BPs a consolidated view across all its projects (delivery plans, benefits realization...)

    3. Lead Account Management

    Be the main point of contact for the Business across DTS services, be the voice of DTS, act as facilitator in resolution of issues.

    Identify key stakeholders and define a relationship plan, evangelize DTS capabilities and achievements.

    Build trust / reliable strategic partnership with the business to work in a collaborative environment.

    Cascade down Business Strategy, vision and understanding to DTS people to enable mutual understandings between all teams.

    Support DTS BPs survey execution & action plan follow-up to increase BP satisfaction.

    About the ideal candidate

    Bachelor’s Degree

    8+ years’ experience in leading digital transformation. Either strategy, transversal transformation projects with multi-sites roll-outs, working with external consulting firms, IT integrators and software vendors

    Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and broad understanding of the current / emerging Digital technology trends and large SaaS platforms (SalesForce, ServiceNow, Analytics)

    Excellent communication skills and influencing ability in English

    Experience in consultancy and / or Account Management and / or Project Management
