02-Jan-2020 IT Lead ServiceNow Solution Engineer II 10424BRITWHAT YOU'LL DOThe IT Lead ServiceNow Solution Engineer II will be focused on delivering solutions inside the business and must be well versed in core ServiceNow capability areas (ITSM, ITOM, Request Management, & Platform Runtime).

You will work with the team identifying business problems, developing solutions using the ServiceNow platform and leading the implementation of those solutions.

As the IT Lead ServiceNow Solution Engineer II, you will provide recommendations based on the current environment and new platform capabilities.

You’ll also work with the team using application programming interfaces (API) and will be expected to help develop integrations between business systems using various programming languages.

YOU'RE GOOD ATYou are good at problem solving, implementing solutions to business pain points and have the ability to work across multiple groups & regions.

You’re experienced in transforming functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks while building and maintaining business process flows and functional designs.

You will design and architect new ServiceNow solutions, including proof of concepts, wireframes and mock-ups. You will support out of box and custom-developed ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, and Request management and play a substantial role in driving break / fix analysis.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations and Product owners to ensure the roadmap is reflective of business needs and priorities.

Proficient in and is able to explain ServiceNow existing functionality as well as future requirements including recommending the best architecture and design principles to meet user requirementsAnalyze user requirements, identifies systematic approaches, and develop recommendations with cross functional teamsDevelop and deliver training programs relevant to Service Now use and administration for end usersImplement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrityAssist with the testing, installation, and implementation of new / improved ServiceNow applicationsYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar preferred5 years of technical experience in ServiceNow implementationsExtensive experience with Service Portal, Request Management & ITSM10 years of total IT experience including 5-7 years of experience in IT Service DeliveryServiceNow certification is preferredWork with the technical development teams around solutions technologies such as Glide scripting, Jelly script, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow APIsITIL Certification preferred-able to understand and apply ITIL best practices to processesPrevious experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server a plusProficient in working with Agile / Scrum SDLCAbility to clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech or writingAbility to effectively absorb information inform various sources, analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusionsYOU'LL WORK WITHBCG’s information technology group collaboratively delivers the latest digital technologies that enable our consultants to lead and our business to grow.
