What you'll do
Establish OEGen in the local market as the go to partner of choice for developers big and small and by doing so, rapidly create a pipeline of opportunities for OEGen to fund
Innovate in origination challenge the accepted wisdom for how deals need to be done and build a business that can scale quickly
Develop new propositions for developers that play to OE’s strengths as a differentiated investor
Oversee the relationships with these developers as the deals progress and support the London based team on the execution of the deal through application of local knowledge and commercial negotiations.
Work with development platforms to challenge the status quo for how development in your local market can be delivered so that we can bring assets through the development cycle more quickly
Be empowered to grow the business in ways that deliver OEGens global ambitions whilst reflecting the opportunities specific to your country.
Deliver the Octopus integrated energy model by bringing significant volume of green electrons to our retail business and embedding Kraken Flex technology
What you'll need
The ambition to build an innovative business that challenges the status quo across everything from how projects will be developed to how they may be funded and how you can originate new opportunities.
Country specific knowledge and network in the energy industry that will unlock development pipeline
An understanding of the renewables development process but not necessarily a development background
Proven experience building high performing teams
Experience structuring and negotiating deals in the sector
Although you will be supported from London, you will need to be prepared to work autonomously and on your own initially.
A passion for sustainability
Strong communication skills! Octopus operates a very flat structure so you will be exposed to all areas of the business - being able to communicate internally in an effective manner is critical
