SHIFT PROGRAM

Sanofi is globally deploying its new back-office cross-functional system processes - covering Finance, SBS, Supply Chain and Trade across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP (SHIFT project) using SAP S4 / HANA technology.

This Transformation program aims at :

  • Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with AnalyticsCommon analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost managementTransversal data consolidation as well as more granular analysesCommon budget tools by GBU

  • JOB SUMMARY

    The ITS Architect - Advanced Analytics is responsible for the solution, design, and implementation of the Analytics projects for S4 COE and other connected systems for all businesses on all geographies.

    The solution portfolio for Analytics includes AWS, Python, S / 4HANA, BW4 / HANA, Qlik Sense, Business Objects (Lumira, WebI and Analysis for Office).

    S / he will act as a primary point of contact for business to identify high level business requirement. S / he will manage the analytics projects from an end-to-end perspective including communication, solution design and implementation.

    S / he will leverage the relationship with the ITS service and platform owner / s for each solution selected and capture requirements that map to these solutions.

    For each solution, S / he will define the roles and responsibility between S4 team and the service owner. For S4 delivery, this person will define usage, governance, standards and guidelines.

    During execution phase, S / he will put in place quality gate to ensure that implementation partner follow the defined rules.

    Strong value realization skills, understanding the financial implications and ROI.

    Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within Analytics stream and design / implement solutions to meet these needs.

    Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

    Drive the implementation partner activities in analytics design, development, testing and deployments. S / he will work with solution architecture team on Project specifically for data and technology delivery needs.

  • Deep knowledge of organizational process, data and associated applications. Strong knowledge of Analytics solutions, tools and processes;
  • collecting data from multiple systems on-premises and cloud-based.

    Strong project management experience, communication, presentation & leadership skills. Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

    Manage E2E global analytics scope / delivery for their business streams

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In the context of the SHIFT Project, the main duties of the ITS Architect - SHIFT Analytics are :

    Design

  • Understand the business requirements for SHIFT reporting needs and define the list of solutions that will be required to meet these requirements
  • Build, own and share decision tree to leverage right solution for a requirement with pros and cons
  • For each solution, define SOPs and usage rules
  • Design the project plan needed for implementation of the reporting solution for data that lie within and outside of SHIFT (S / 4HANA, BW4 / HANA & BI)
  • Consider big data analytics where needed and the solutions around it working closely with the solution architecture team
  • Ensure the solution setup and level of services by liaising with the ITS Tech and Integration teams
  • Implementation and support

  • Organize and execute Knowledge transfer to implementation / support partner on decision tree and norms / standards
  • Support the development and delivery of reusable components that can be orchestrated together
  • Set quality gates to ensure implementation partner is following agreed rules and SLAs
  • REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Masters / Bachelors University degree
  • 10+ years of experience on Analytics and reporting technologies working on Global projects
  • PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience and understanding (10+ years) of Data architecture and analytical solutions that include SAP and non-SAP solutions
  • Strong knowledge in Advanced analytics topics including predictive and prescriptive analytics with AWS, Python and other cloud services
  • Good working experience in SAP BW4 / HANA and other Data warehouse platforms such as AWS Redshift, POSTGRESQL
  • Strong project management experience, communication, presentation & leadership skills
  • Knowledge of working in SAP functional areas (specifically focused on SAP FI-CO, SD and Supply Chain) and leading projects with global scope
  • Experience of SAP analytics full lifecycle implementation projects
  • Train and build teams by setting an example. Foster a cooperative atmosphere among all members
  • Defining team goals and identifying strengths and areas of improvement always helping the team to grow
  • Experience of large programs in complex and international environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
  • At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools
