As Data Scientist (SAP & SQL) you will be part of a global project team to develop Celonis data models and analyses for global and cross-
functional business processes.
You actively use the Celonis Process Mining software to provide transparency over highly complex digital business processes with close interaction with business analysts.
You have deep knowledge and proven experience about data modeling, ETL tools and processes and the integration into the MSSQL database with the use of SQL stored procedures
Your key responsibilities will be;
Produce accurate design technical specifications with a sufficient level of detail.
The data scientist should be able to translate rather generic business demands into technical requirements and vice-versa to "translate" its technical findings to a non-
technical team on Business-side (BPM / Business Analysts).
Proactively identify, evaluate, and communicate ideas for development improvements, standardization of the framework and structure of the procedures in the MS SQL database.
Develop robust data models with the appropriate event and case calculation to support the integration of data of business processes from different systems.
Enhance existing Celonis data models, framework, data flows and Celonis analyses according to the requirements and specifications.
Create or enhance Celonis front-end analyses leveraging features to improve the analysis capabilities and process mining insights.
Manage the ETL tool or other data extraction methods to extract and harmonized the data from different source systems.
Support the issue and change resolution derived from the different test cycles.
Build new proof-of-concept projects to enable new features and solutions like action engine with automation and machine learning capabilities.

For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications :
Studies in Computer Science / Maths / Physics or a comparable degree program.
IT experience in a large complex organization, development, and configuration of business applications in an international environment.
From 5 to 7 seven years of hands-on experience in programming (SQL), ETL and working with databases (data warehouse) and data modeling (MS SQL, HANA, etc.).
Proficiency in SAP ERP environment, with preference in SAP FI, AP, AR, MM and SD modules. Alternatively, the candidate should show a strong commitment to building up that knowledge to a certain level not to SAP module consulting level, but the ability to independently check data structures and data relationships in SAP is important, as well as making basic validations in SAP when implementing changes).
ARIBA / SRM / Salesforce experience would be a plus.
Experience with Celonis data models and analyses or other process mining tools would be a strong plus.
Well-structured and known for being a quick learner with excellent analytical skills.
