This challenge is hard to ignore. As the Director of Business Development - Outbound Sales you will be responsible for developing the strategy, process, and approach to outbound sales, with responsibility for personally driving sales and eventual growth and success of our rockstar team of Market Development Associates.
Together you will be at the frontline in executing outreach campaigns that spread the love for Cloudbeds through the global hospitality industry.
You will fuel the sales pipeline with qualified leads whilst reveling in the knowledge that you and your team are transforming the lodging industry one phone call at a time.
What You Will Do :
Bring your successful track record in SaaS outbound sales and your unique perspective to lead the development of Cloudbeds global outbound sales strategy.
Accept accountability for outbound sales policies, procedures, and quotas; analyzing data and performance to create successful close strategies, fuelling the sales pipeline by being Cloudbeds' loudest voice in the market.
Lead, coach and motivate a team of Market Development Associates, creating a culture of persistence and success.
Be a key member of the go-to-market team that alongside Regional Sales Managers identifies campaign opportunities that align with regional market strategies.
Plan outbound campaigns in sync with marketing and regional sales teams.
Work with cross-functional teams to plan, implement and constantly fine-tune the outbound sales process.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and success of outbound efforts, measuring actual results against desired outcomes, and providing weekly reporting to the leadership team.
Be creative and tenacious in developing outbound sales tactics including the planning and execution of territory and segment focuses and local sales blitzes.
Review rep calls daily and coach and drill team members on outbound sales tactics.
Be process-driven and responsible for Salesforce administration and team reporting.
Collaborate with the Sales Ops team to master Cloudbeds sales technology.
Create a fear-free environment in which everyone can contribute their part toward success.
Work with the Sales Enablement and Marketing team to craft outbound content - emails, elevator pitches, call scripts, message scripts.
Measure success and optimize.
You'll Succeed With :
7-10+ years outbound sales leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to build, scale and manage large outbound teams, with a track record of successful attainment of quota / revenue targets.
Extensive knowledge of outbound sales methodologies (across various channels) and tools (salesforce, etc).
The ability to build, lead and motivate outbound sales reps from diverse backgrounds.
Fluency in business English.
Flexibility to work across multiple global time zones.
A data-driven hunter, with a passion for prospecting and sales best practices.
Track record of overachievement in customer acquisition, and the ability to drive high levels of outbound prospecting activity.
Self-motivated, culturally aware team player with a can-do attitude.
The candidate must be a strong coach & leader.
Presentation capabilities and comfort meeting with clients in person and by phone.
Keen ability to develop strong business relationships with C-level decision-makers.
Exceptional analytics, project management skills, writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize many clients and deadlines concurrently, while also managing internal and external expectations for the workload.
4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
A proven track record leading a remote team.
Experience in hospitality operations.
Portuguese and Spanish languages.
