Entrust is seeking a Systems Engineer to operationalize, support and solve complex business and technology problems related to our O365 tenant with a primary focus on our Exchange Online and on-premises instances, Azure AD, and Active Directory.

This individual will play a key role in partnering with internal and external stakeholders to provide key products and services used by our rapidly growing and evolving Entrust business.

This individual will be responsible for gathering and turning requirements into working solutions by building and delivering stable O365 and email platforms and services.

This position also requires foundational skills in server virtualization as well as a deep knowledge and experience with DNS and Group Policy management.

This position will report to the IT Infrastructure Management Team.

Strategic Responsibilities

Participate in the planning of services that have enterprise -wide impact , including design , lifecycle management , and delegation of support responsibilities.

Collaborate and strategize with Information Security and other project teams to gather functional and technical requirements and implement solutions as required.

Evaluate new technologies and participate in related decision-making efforts

Apply and maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies within ema il, Active Directory, and Office 365 technology domain s .

Stay current with Entrust technical capabilities, infrastructure, and technical environment.

Follow IT and Security standards, policies and procedures.

Operational Responsibilities

Platform administration of Office 365 / Exchange Online

Platform administration of all on premise infrastructure for Exchange 2016 / 2019. Includes server , application , and patch management

Active Directory and other directory services administration, including DNS and DHCP

Group Policy creation and troubleshooting

Windows File Share services management; experience with DFS.

Write and work with Microsoft PowerShell scripts

Server OS troubleshooting, resolution and root cause analysis on Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019 servers Respond to support and project requests, participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and off-hours maintenance windows

Provide suggestions for handling routine and complex technical problems, escalating issues when appropriate

Develop plans and schedules, estimate resource requirements, and define milestones and deliverables

Create and improve standards and best practices to ensure high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables

Participate in disaster recovery planning activities.

Develop logical and physical infrastructure models.

Essential Qualifications

Cross-train other team members as required

Experience working in medium and large size IT Infrastructure Organizations

Experience working in an Exchange / O365 systems administration role

Experience with administration of Active Directory in a medium to large size organization

Experience working in a virtualized environment (VMWare ESX vSphere 6.x)

Must be able to lawfully work within the UK and have unrestricted work authorization for UK

Preferred Qualifications

College or University degree

MCSA or MCSE with a specialization on Exchange and / or Office 365

MCSA or MCSE with a specialization on Windows Server
