Verisure , operating under two brand names ( Securitas Direct & Verisure ) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Networking Engineer .
This is a critical role that will help the Technology organization in the development and integration of the SW that will be built for a new family of products, delivering the world’s most advanced and intuitive smart alarm product suite.

Strategic context and Value proposition
The role will part of a growing and talented team. Reporting to & with direction from the Comms Manager for the Southern Platform, the position is responsible for the Engineering of Verisure Network Infrastructure & Eco-System focusing on new network developments (into worldwide network), implementations, and coordination of IT projects between departments and external service providers.
Responsibilities will include :
Analyse current Verisure Network Technology, define technical solutions, suppliers & drive improvements, evolution, optimisations & automation according to business needs.
Provide technical excellence for Verisure by translating internal customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.
Engage with 3rd party suppliers to assess Professional Services and Technical Solutions.
Document network changes or topology changes, low level design and network implementations plan.
Work cross-functionally with IT, network architects and Technology & Business Teams driving end-to-end technical solutions.
Build, present, workshop and influence key stakeholders.
Develop technical presentations, proposals, and perform presentations.
Develop Polices and Standards for the Network Infrastructures.
Stay abreast of new technologies and technical areas and share information about solutions to enable capability building within the Comms and rest of Technology & Business teams.
Drive and support innovation and automation initiatives.

Candidate profile
Experiences and Qualifications
Must have requirements
5-8 years of experience as Network Engineer
Routing & Switching OSPF, STP, SD-Access, WiFi
WAN Technologies MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN
Data Center VxLAN, BGP EVPN, ACI
Knowledge with some technologies like : Load balancers (F5), Firewalling (Palo Alto / Forti / Cisco ASA)
VPNs
Azure and AWS (Networking or Communications)
CCNP Enterprise or Data Center
Excellent English written & oral skills
Secondary requirements
Automation, Python, Ansible
Have been working in worldwide projects
Deep level Experience of strong vendors & suppliers management within a Global Environment.
CCDE (preferably)
