The Head of Google Advertising - Europe will have a solid background in multi countries paid search, display marketing, Shopping and YouTube.
This person should have a hands-on attitude, precise analytical skills, and a desire to exceed their goals. They will focus on new customer acquisition by utilizing both native interfaces and 3rd party bidding platforms for search engines, and will involve solid campaign setup and optimization skills.
This talented individual will not only lead a multi million budget, but also a team of 4 individuals. They will work closely with all media team members to help achieve overall customer acquisition goals.
This role is critical to help continue to grow the overall percentage of Google into TechStyle’s media mix.
This position will report to the Senior Director of Customer Acquisition and is based in Barcelona, Spain.
Develop, implement, optimize and analyze Google campaigns for our European business units (including paid search, shopping, display and YouTube)
Monitor campaign metrics daily with an eye on both customer acquisition and ROI metrics.
Work with the Senior Director to execute search strategy and plan google roadmap, and weekly interactions with the NA Acquisition team.
Create and test new campaigns and new platforms to better target users and ROI
Effectively leverage keyword research for increased campaign performance and scale
Define, prioritize, coordinate and implement Google strategies including but not limited to technical, graphical, layout, copy, landing pages, content revisions, new content development, etc
Monitor new industry trends and evaluate risk / reward for implementation
Monitor daily, weekly and month-end campaign performance, and produce additional ad hoc analyses as required
Work cross-functionally with internal Product, Marketing and Analytics teams
Required Skills :
Languages : English + French or Spanish
4+ years' experience in digital, working with the google environment (Search, Shopping, YouTube and GDN)
Experience in team management
Experience working for business-to-consumer internet brands with subscription and conversion models preferred
Solid understanding of acquisition metrics and customer lifetime value
Excellent communication skills written, oral, data visualization, presentation, etc.
Attention to detail. There are an incredible number of details, and so many little devils in these details across media channels
Ability to break down complex problems and the judgment to drive towards solutions
Collaborative problem solving skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels to get results
Proven track record of managing campaigns with a focus on performance.
Good understanding of Google environment (including Search, Shopping, GDN, YouTube), Bing Ads
Excellent multi-tasker, extremely detail oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment characterized by constant growth and change
Advanced Excel and analytical skills are critical
Knowledge of Google Analytics and / or other Web analytics services
