The PositionIn this Business Process Management role, you will be responsible to drive the design, implementation and smooth running of the customer master data maintenance processes.
This includes the definition of the source of truth for a landscape with multiple Customer Master consuming systems (e.g.
e-commerce, SAP, CRM),a process / rule to avoid master data duplicates and the definition of data validation rules to ensure clean data.
In addition, you are responsible to define and run a governance framework to ensure the compliant use of master data in all relevant consuming systems in line with applicable data privacy regulations.
You will do this in close collaboration with the solution owners and Business Process Managers / Owners of all systems and processes, consuming customer master data (e.
g. SAP, SFDC, MySugr, RDCP), as well as with the data privacy officer.As the interface between business stakeholders and IT for the customer master data maintenance solution, you document user requirements and ensure IT builds the master data maintenance solutions according to the user specification.
You work closely with the relevant IT support to run the maintenance process smoothly.In order to ensure the compliant use of the customer master data in all consuming systems, you will be responsible that end users and support personnel are properly trained to use the maintenance processes.
You monitor performance of the process and solution (e.g. define and set up a KPI framework, run regular review sessions with key users and stakeholders) and make proposals for improvements to stakeholders and Business Process Owner.
In addition you pre-assess and consolidate new demand to help prepare for the business value estimation process.Your main tasks will be : Defines and runs the governance framework to ensure compliant use of the customer master data in all consuming systems in line with data privacy regulations.
Drives the definition of the customer master data maintenance process vision, roadmap, tactics and KPI s and their implementation : Organizes and leads process & solution design workshops with key stakeholders, BPO and IT.
Set up and runs key user and best practice communities, (e.g. G+, newsletter, best practice workshops)Consolidate and assess change requests from users in line with overall process strategy or legal / regulatory gap to help prepare the business value estimation process.
Set up and run the KPI framework to measure efficiency of the process and define measures with relevant stakeholders and the BPO to enhance the performance of the maintenance process.

We are looking for a person who has solid understanding of master data management and governance principles who has demonstrated leadership in the design and / or roll out of master data maintenance processes including cleansing, matching, merging, application of fuzzy logic and the use of external reference data (preferably in the customer master data area).
A good understanding of techniques and governance measures to ensure compliant handling of sensitive data in master data & transactional systems in line with data privacy rules (e.
g. GDPR, CCPA) is crucial.The successful candidate is a creative out of the box thinker who has a flair for process design (lean six sigma or similar experience would be an asset).
You have very strong communication and collaboration skills enabling you to effectively lead design workshops with the BPMs and key stakeholders of customer master data consuming systems.
You have the ability to effectively run the governance framework for Customer master data. You have a talent to spot inefficiencies in processes and bring them up for discussion to get buy in and find new solutions.
You are able to lead a user community and engage people in the process.As the interface between business stakeholders and IT you are able to articulate in business language and are able to work with IT to ensure functional specifications are meeting the business requirements.
You like to work in systems and have ambition to explore / master their functionality and are able to analyze and challenge data flows.
You have Bachelor degree or equivalent, in a relevant discipline. You bring over 4 years’ experience in a business process management role, with a track record of delivering process implementations in the master data area (ideally complemented with a lean six sigma green or black belt or similar would be an asset)In addition you bring the following skills and competencies : You have a solid understanding of Master data management principles, concepts and governance structuresKnowledge of data privacy rules (e.
g. GDPR and CCPA) and a deep understanding of their impact on master data management and transactional systems is crucialVery good problem solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
