This is a Europe Sector role in charge of implementing a common Europe VMI solution across most of European markets with VMI request.
This team will be responsible for expanding and migratiing solutions already running within two main channels : Organized Trade and Distributors
System implementation will leverage Pro-link template and the objective of this team will be to assure JDA will provide the right functional and system solution, manage readiness required to deploy, lead the set-up of the new organization and change management and deliver the post go-live support.
This deployment should require a budget of 14,7MM$ and handle a broad and cross-functional team partially shared with Pro-link 2.0 implementation team.
System and organization implementation should be set-up successfully to capture 110MM$ - ten years productivity and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This specific role will have Demand Planning accountability. A key element of that will be to develop the Common Process with specific Category requirements, DP integration with the end-to-end Supply Planning activities and supporting the Pilot deployment.
The role will also have accountability implementing planning guiding principles, identifying and implementing required business processes, driving the workshop activities and supporting effective deployment of the JDA tool.
This role will lead demand planning solution for Europe VMI implementation. This role will face two clear phases : start leading VMI build solution and Turkey pilot and responsible for roll-out and expansion of VMI solution for all the European markets.
Main accountabilities by each market implementation :
Mobilization : support, lead and set-up project goberance, team construction and launch all the activities of DP business readiness and ensure the project has the right fundemanteals ready to implement VMI successfully.
Build & Data integration : this role will lead this phase with the following activities :
Implement sector VMI DP to-be design template, however previously this task will require to identify new local requirements to consider and assess if they will be developed.
Data preparation and cleaning with specific focus on history set-up and DFU parameters properly configured.
Validate data integration that will scope master files, trasntacional and customer data
Define and align locally the new process design and ways of working
All these activities will require to lead design workshops with the key sector and local stakeholders.
Testing : it is required to lead this phase with the following main activities :
Test execution, paralel run and end user test sign-off
Training and change management : lead / support the set-up of new VMI organization in charge of demand planning activities and new ways of working.
This task will require :
Develop all the material system and process training
Define roles, job descriptions and organization chart design
Lead user training sessions
Go-live and hypercare support post go-live
This role will be responsible for other key VMI capabilities :
Deploy key metrics / scorecard to track VMI performance in DP arena
Engage the appropriate CS&L / commercial leaders and SME’s for all BUs within Europe to standardize the VMI demand planning processes to ensure alignment with the ISCP - Lead the collection, understanding, documentation and translation of business requirements into business processes through personal expertise and engagement of subject matter experts across our business
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
5+ years experience in demand planning, implementation and / or field supply chain experience
Required background and experience in JDA software : specifically demand planning module
Background in leading project within supply chain arena and highly appreciated planning tools implementation
Highly appreciated experience on implementing VMI solutions
Required experience managing multi-markets teams
