JOB DESCRIPTIONITS Architect - SHIFT Data IntegrationJob Title : ITS Architect - SHIFT Data Integration Scope : Worldwide, all businessesSupervisor : ITS Architect - SHIFT Technical IntegrationSHIFT PROGRAMSanofi is globally deploying its new back-office cross-functional system processes - covering Finance, SBS, Supply Chain and Trade across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP (SHIFT project) using SAP S4 / HANA technology.

This Transformation program aims at : Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with AnalyticsCommon analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost managementTransversal data consolidation as well as more granular analysesCommon budget tools by GBUFacilitating a seamless integration of planning and actual data setting-up automation in reporting to enable Global Shared Services (SBS)Support SBS strategy by implementing an end-to-end approach (e.

g. P2P fully covered by integrated Group solutions from eBuy to AP Invoicing, T&E, etc.)Opportunity to consolidate new activities in Shared Services (e.

g. Master Data Management, Credit Management) and to develop global Shared Services organization models (e.g. T&E)Support reporting factoriesSimplifying processes and Sanofi users’ experienceState-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user’s experienceMajor changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at onceOne source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control frameworkImproved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodologyJOB SUMMARYThe ITS Architect - SHIFT Data Integration is responsible to define and maintain the data migration methodology with the support of functional teams and by leveraging market best practices.

He / she will build a standard data migration plan, by consolidating objects to be migrated, identify proper sequencing, timeline and appropriate tool set.

He / she should setup standard reporting to ensure visibility, traceability, and control of data migration process during different load cycles.

He / she will integrate standard migration cycles in the approach and develop a data migration cut-over skeleton.He / she will consult functional team, implementation partner(s) and tool expert(s) to bring external best practices inside migration methodology.

  • He will ensure consistent tooling usage for data migration and other mass data movements (ETL interfaces, Datamart).MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIn the context of the SHIFT program or any other Sanofi program such as TCM (Treasury Core Model) and Integrated ERP (iERP) based on SHIFT platform, the main duties of the ITS Architect - SHIFT Data Integration are : Domain ManagementPresent verbal and written reports for the Domain defining action plans, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of managementEnsure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the Project ManagementOrganize work with implementation partner corresponding Domain lead;
  • Follow-up on implementation partner resources On- / Off-boarding and escalate on Quality issuesEnsure alignment with key stakeholders : program management, functional leads, deployment teamEnsure Solution documentation & capitalization of knowledge;
  • organize within team Knowledge transfer and Upskilling as required; provide inputs & proposals for documentation templates & deliverable formats evolutionsOn Platform oriented integration activitiesDevelop data conversion approach aligned with our eco-system (types of sources, SHIFT landscape, source of trough, data propagation)Formalize theorical migration objects list and sequencingEnsure tools set is complete and cover all migration use casesIntegrate data conversion and data propagation within out integration strategyEnhance our integrations strategy with ETL capabilities and toolsLead the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience and teams’ feedbackOn Solution oriented integration activitiesSupport deployment team and functionals experts with an approach covering data extraction, profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, standardization, conversion, transformation, and loadingSupport deployment team on data migration plan approach (what, where, how much, how, who) and ensure they leverage standard Support deployment team on load cycles preparation / execution and ensure they are leveraging standard assets Support deployment team to build production data migration cut-over plan and ensure integration on the overall cut-overAligned with quality on Data migration deliverables feeding entry / exit criteria on different project phasesSupport data movements requirements with ETL capabilitiesREQUIREMENTSEducational backgroundPost-graduate studies (4 / 5 years) : Master in IT or EngineeringProfessional experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in IT activitiesDemonstrated experience in managing data migration activitiesknowledgeable in data movements solution e.
