Job Description

The IT Services team is looking for an individual that has the expertise and skills to fill a Voice Service Engineer position onsite in Toledo, OH.

This position requires advanced capabilities in communications.This position will provide telephone, on-site, and remote technical support to Hexagon Clients in the following areas : Telecom Support, Voice and Data Cabling, MACD, and Telecom Project Work.

The candidate(s) will interface directly with the client’ users and support staff in resolving support issues.The analyst will be required to stay abreast of all changes that affect Clients’ infrastructure.

In addition, the analyst(s) must maintain thorough and easily accessible records of correspondence received and responded to.

This position is on-site at customer location in Toledo, OH.

This position requires great people skills.The individual must be skilled at listening to clients, capturing issues, and guiding them through issue resolution.

The individual must be courteous, well spoken, and not easily shaken.Previous call center, telephony, and networking experience is a great plus for the position(s).

Candidate will work closely with Vendors, Technicians, Engineering, and Management.

Qualifications

The individual will need the following Skills :

  • Telephony systems (e.g. mobile, audioconference, corporate telephony, unified communications, Cisco and / or Avaya telephone and switch support.)
  • Communication and collaboration systems including MS outlook email, video conferencing and VoIP telephony systems; mobile telephony;
  • Web and audio conferencing

  • Capability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Capable of producing systems documentation and process manuals in support of operations
  • Work within Service Now and manage all tickets from creation to competition
  • AS / BS / Tech School preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Voice Support position
  • Knowledge of Communications Service and Support desired (preferably legacy systems and Cisco CM)
  • Experience or certifications in the following : Cisco, Avaya, Wireless, VOIP, Legacy phone systems, Service Now
  • Must have excellent problem solving / analytical skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in communicating with customers and staff
  • Great customer service skills
  • Working knowledge or experience with standard business applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel)
  • Understanding of patient care environments, a plus
  • Experience with Service Now a plus
  • Understanding the basics of wiring and networking
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug check
