In ECB we are collaborating in the search of a Senior C++ SDK, to be part of a company that has its own product oriented to storage and communication in a secure way in the cloud.
In this rol, you will be engineering robust, testable and scalable code within our client applications. You will report to the C++ Team Lead.
The main tasks to be carried out by the employee selected are :
Architect your code to be efficient, reliable, maintainable and reusable.
Engage with team members, mentoring them and supporting each other.
Contribute to code reviews and set high code quality standards
Demonstrate outstanding problem solving and algorithmic thinking - see the bigger picture and carve out excellent technical solutions
Contribute to engineering best practices, guidelines and our technical infrastructure to help enhance our product and improve reliability and efficiency
Cross-team collaboration, with product, design, mobile, backend, and QA teams, to ensure we create great user experiences whilst also adhering to our high security and privacy standards which are underpinned by our end-to-end encryption
Ideally, hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
6+ years of experience in C++ software development. Able to work with C++11.
Highly confident in computer science fundamentals, databases, network programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Able to design solutions that are efficient both at runtime and in implementation effort, and synergise well with existing designs.
Experienced in profiling applications and identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Insightful, someone who can see the bigger picture and design your solutions to fit.
Able to transform abstract solutions into efficient, low-lock-contention, massively multithreaded algorithms.
Passionate about uplifting your own skills and that of your team, helping build a motivating and inspiring environment.
Intermediate or advanced English level.

Reimbursement of an amount established by the company for expenses relating to private phone and internet usage.
Stable role within a secure industry, with the opportunity to work with passionate and experienced engineers across the globe.
Employee agrees to be available for telephone / video conference with the company's employees in New Zealand, of approximately one hour, to be held from Monday to Thursday between 7 am and 9 pm and on Fridays between 7 am and 3 pm, with a frequency of once o twice per week, subject to prior scheduling between both parties.
The time dedicated to such calls or video conferences will be considered working time.
Employee agrees to provide personal contact details for after-hours contact, if required urgently. Employee agrees to try to respond to urgent requests outside usual working hour, to the extent permitted by the law.
Such "on call" time will be compensated according to a rate per weerk of availability. If any kind of services are effectively rendered during the "on call" period, the time dedicated to the requested tasks will be considered working time.
Also, the company will also consider assisting overseas candidates who wish to relocate to New Zealand, where the head office is located.
