GLG is seeking a Manager Recruiting Specialists in Barcelona to oversee a team of Recruiting Associates. We connect thousands of clients to the largest global network of subject matter experts across every sector.

Our Recruiting team is focused on connecting the world’s leading financial investment firms, professional services firms, and corporations with GLG’s Network Members on a variety of topics across the globe, every day.

Recruiting Associates explain to industry professionals what it means to work with GLG and recruit them into GLG’s professional membership network a base of more than 1,000,000 experts.

The Manager - Recruiting Specialists will oversee a team of Recruiting Associates and will play a critical leadership role in delivering excellent client service, managing people development and maintaining a high quality benchmark.

The role also entails partnering closely with client facing team members from across the local and global offices on custom client projects and strategic recruiting efforts designed to quickly put GLG clients in touch with relevant key opinion leaders and senior level industry executives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive overall performance of team (8+ Network Development Associates) to meet or exceed collective performance goals.
  • Project allocation and load balancing to ensure all client requests are delivered.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, and effectively receive and provide feedback across the structure.
  • Engage in the professional development of team members and execute strategies to retain top talent.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and demonstrate strong judgment in the candidate profiles selected for roles on the team.
  • Prepare and review performance data to monitor and measure the team's productivity, goal achievement and overall effectiveness.
  • Interface and partner with Client Solutions team, locally and globally, to drive continuous improvement in quality and speed.
  • Collaborating with EMEA teams to drive best practices.

  • Guide team decision-making around compliance matters.
  • An ideal candidate will have the following :

  • 2+ years of high performance as a people manager in inside sales, recruiting, or phone-based environment
  • Outstanding communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with, motivate and lead a sales / development / recruiting team
  • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented focus with a passion for coaching and driving team toward meeting and exceeding targets
  • Strong collaborator and effective in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excel in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, entrepreneurial, and challenging environment
  • Additional European (German / Spanish / French / Italian)language skills would be beneficial, but are not required

    Training and onboarding

    Managers Recruiting Specialists will spend some time during their onboarding period learning the Recruiting Associate role to enable successful delivery of the key responsibilities of the role.
