Superpedestrian is looking for a Repair & Warehouse Manager who will oversee all maintenance & repairs, maintain the charging rooms, organize the charged / discharged fleet in agreement with the field operators staff.
This role will also serve as an interface between our technical engineering team in the USA and our field Operations Manager.
You should have experience taking apart and fixing mechanical assemblies, using software tools to monitor vehicle health, as well as creating processes and procedures for completing repairs and collecting data.
What you'™ll do :
Oversee vehicle maintenance queues with responsibility to drive vehicle repair to maximize vehicle deployments
Develop exceptional product knowledge and help troubleshoot and advise our technical teams when necessary
Work closely with the hq-based repair operations manager to learn Link software tools in order to diagnose vehicle problems and develop procedures for field repair
Collect and document feedback and failures from mechanics on the ground and collaborate with repair operations manager to drive solutions
Move the scooters actively in the warehouse and charging room in order to maximize the ground operators staff to always have the maximum of the scooters ready for deployment.
Actively monitor the fleet in our systems and assist in despatching
Solve for logistical issues that occur in our Rome fleet including picking up scooters at risk of damage
Provide round the clock support the the fleet management company that is assisting
Supervise inventory tracking and accountability for deployment and maintenance
What we're looking for :
A technical degree is preferred with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and very detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skill both in Italian and english
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
Tech savvy, with the ability to document and communicate software bugs
Deep sense of curiosity and desire to learn new things
Experience with mechanical work (bicycles, scooters, etc), hands-on projects and fluency with workshop tools
Ability to work with limited supervision
Comfortable using Excel and Word
Ability to rapidly change roles and responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
The ability to multitask, prioritize and troubleshoot new tasks as they arise
Highly motivated and willing to seek out and run with opportunities that may arise
