Presentation of the Department and the Team :

Under Group IT Services Distributed Products, The Backend Infrastructure and Transversal Tools Product Line aims to maintain and delivery new products on :

  • Storage : NAS NetApp, HDS SAN, IBM Spectrum Backup
  • ComputeESX : VMWare, IBM, Fujitsu, HP physical servers
  • File Transfer : UDM, Stonebranch, UAC, AxWay
  • Active Directory : Microsoft, Quest, IAM
  • In parallel, our Products are fully engaged on Security, audits, and Quality of service.

    Part of Axa Group Operations, we have to build a global mindset with new methodologies in all countries Axa Go is implemented.

    Missions :

    Reporting to the head of Product Line, the Feature Delivery Manager ensure the transversal coordination to define, scope and deliver new Distributed Product capabilities.

    The Feature Delivery Manager :

  • Is responsible of end-to-end feature delivery from the demand identification until its complete deployment for all Axa GO customers Manage all stakeholders within AXA GO (TO, SMEs, Group Security ), OpCo CIOs teams (User Community) and Providers (IBM, ), from requirements gathering to fully operational in Production and reporting to Executive Stakeholders Ensure design is delivered according to expectation & standards Follow-up release delivery including technical components (infrastructure, software, ) and support realization of test cases Coordinate Feature deployment towards each customers (OpCo, Axa Go Products) in close collaboration with Product Manager
  • Prepare processes and organizations to ensure feature operability in Production (financial, operational and technical readiness)- Act as a transformation agent to adapt delivery and operating model for the new Feature according to AXA Go Product strategy Define Target Operating Model including organization and job descriptions (with the support of TOM & Change teams and in liaison with key stakeholders) Define processes to operate the feature Define training plan and content in collaboration with Training department Organize the handover to Operations team (formal sign-off)
  • Manage budget & resources - Track budget impact and building the appropriate Costing & Pricing strategy Launch and follow RFP and manage contractual amendments with providers Identify & lead contributors (SME, Service Owner, Product Managers, Providers) Support the Product Manager to deliver the costing / pricing and update the product brochure Track & report on budget towards Product Manager
  • Manage one or several projects in parallel for each new feature or feature evolution Deliver project scoping (Technical, Financial, Functional) Identify key stakeholders, define and lead the adequate project governance Follow governance (gates deliverables, committees, ) Project Scoping (Technical, Financial, Functional)
  • Example of Distributed Products features managed by Feature Delivery Managers :

    File Share On Premise release, infrastructure deployment, new policies on backup infrastructure, storage arrays migration.

    Profile : Experience


  • 10 + years’ experience in IT engineering or operations, with at least 5 + in functional or hierarchical management in an international, large-scale and highly visible context with technology challenges
  • Technical skills

  • Proven experience in Service Delivery organizations and operational delivery (SLA, ITIL processes, IT large-scale project delivery )
  • Management skills (Large & international projects or program management, or hierarchical management in a complex environment)
  • Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter architectures, from network, infrastructure layer to middleware, identity management and authentication ...
  • Digital Experience, technologies and associated methods : market offers IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, architecture pattern supporting DevOps and Agile organizations (delivery and continuous testing, A / B Testing, ...)
  • Scrum Agile and DevOps methodology
  • Leadership & Soft skills

  • Strong organizational and technology skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Discipline and Method
  • Ability to change (or be changed) to fit new circumstances and be able to handle unexpected demands
  • Ability to convince, federate and motivate beyond the hierarchical team and in multi-cultural environment - ability to take into account the regional / countries way of working specificities
  • Excellent presentation and training skills, communication adapted to the audience, including executives
  • Work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive

  • Experience of working in dynamic, matrix-structured global organizations
  • Language skills

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must
