Job Description
Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a PTW Coordinator on board their vessels.
Roles and responsibilities :
Advise and monitor of correct implementation of the Permit to Work system
Capable of delivering PTW orientation and awareness to users.
Ensure that all permits to work are fulfilled in the correct manner.
Review each PTW and advise if there might be any clashes with other activities (SIMOPS) and / or additional controls are necessary
Verify the control measures identified in the PTW and ensure that all the safety precautions are clearly stated on the PTW and any other associated paperwork.
Check if personnel involved under specific PTW are trained for the task to be performed
Ensure that all concerned roles and groups are aware of the work planned, work to be performed, extended or suspended and finishes job within the area of responsibility.
Coordinate permit to work meeting.
Check that isolation / entry certificates are issued before Work Permit is opened. Verify if appropriate Risk Assessment and / or Job Safety Analysis supports the PTW;
Maintain PTW and Isolation Register and display and update a log of open Permits and Certificates;
Verify and ensure that all the precautions specified in the PTW and associated documents (LOTO, JSA, etc.) have been implemented on the worksite before work starts
Oversee Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO), Hot Work and any additional required execution of the work scope.
Regularly inspect the PTW activity sites to verify that all works requiring Permits are identified and conducted under the PTW system and verify that all the precautions required by PTW and associated documents, including isolations are being compiled with and remained effective while the PTW is in force

Requirements
Skills / experience :
Technical degree (preferably with a specialization in health and safety management).
At least 7 years’ experience in the O&G industry as HSE / operations / offshore construction
At least 2 years’ experience as PTW controller / coordinator on Oil and Gas sites
Fluent in English
Advanced computer skills with MS Office Software
Knowledge :
HSE Management Systems / Safe System of Work
PTW principles and applications, including LOTO / isolations requirements
Knowledge of HSE Risk management tools (HAZID, Risk assessment, JSA / JHA / TRA, etc.)
Understands the planned work, operating / maintenance, construction, commissioning procedures

Contract start :
Approximately June 2022 (The contract starting date as per the travel date to work side)

Working hours :
12 hours per day / 7 days per week
