As anOracle ERP Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant, you are primarilyresponsible for capturing, analyzing and estimating customer businessrequirements and translating them into Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud ERP solution architecturethat fit within the customer’s business environment and business objectives.
Youwill lead functional/process analysis and facilitates workshops with customerresources and subject matter experts. Support the captures of client’s businessrequirements and specifies system, application or process designs.
Youshould also be involved in mapping the client requirements to the base productfunctionality to present a product fit. You work with the functional analysisand review the solution overview, functional designs, technical designs,configuration within the project. You are a contributor to deliver a the teamsolution to the client.
Leadsteams of designers and developers throughout the implementation life cycles toproduce analysis and designs for new and ongoing projects demonstrating:
Working knowledge ofdomains suchas: Procurement, Advanced Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Inventory,Logistics, Order Management, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Transportation Management,WMS, Planning and others
Knowledge of the overall architecture of Oracle ERP and/or Oracle CloudERP.
Ability o learn of Oracle’s OUM methodology and experience withImplementation Methodlogies
Demonstrate knowledge of the Oracle ERP Solution.
Understanding of Oracletechnology
The Consultant must be able to do the following task in their job function:
Analyses software requirements defines solution parameters andspecifications.
Collaborate in workshops with the client to gather requirements, collaboratewith customer needs
Collaborate with the function design process. Performs Systemconfiguration
Do customer presentations of the software and implemented solutions
Assist software developers with the creation of detailed software designspecifications.
Good team player and have strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated with a lot of energy and drive
Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
2+ years experience in software industry. Working in a consultancy capacityon customer sites
Previous strong hands on implementation experience of Oracle eBusinsessSuite R12 , at least 3 full cycles of successful implementations prefrred
Business skills (SCM, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc..)
Desirable Attributes :
Working experience with global SCM/Logistics department.
Ramp up on Cloud ERP product line
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
