  • Responsibilities : *· Adhere to SOP’s, SLA’s and departmental training guideline· Provide a high standard of customer service support to Life Technologies customers (phone, email or any other channel of communication)· Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office· Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office· Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls and email· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.
  • g. pens, forms and brochures)· Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone / email· Receive, sort and distribute daily mail / deliveries· Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)· Arrange and follow up of Courier services· Arrange and follow up of vendor services & orders : Catering, stationary, supplies, etc.

  • Carrying out periodic health and safety checks of the installations· Preparing, printing, binding and archiving documents, when necessary· Logging and reporting all technical faults and arranging all office equipment fixtures and fittings· Co-ordinating parking availability, security passes and the booking in of visitors and clients· Deal with customer orders, complaints and inquiries efficiently and professionally as per the service level agreement and direct activities to appropriate departments· Escalate and solve customer inquiries and complaints without managerial support· Maintain daily customer service reports and respect the KPIs and targets.
  • Other duties : May be required to perform duties other than those given above. The particular duties and responsibilities indicated may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.
  • Such variations are common and would not of themselves justify the re-evaluation of the document.*Minimum Qualifications : *· Proven experience in similar administrative roles, idealy managing tenders· Competent with Microsoft Office suite.
