We are looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager Raw Materials, with strong experience in category management at highly decentralized business environments.
The Category Manager will join the Cimpress Procurement Services team to work with the different Cimpress businesses. The mission is to deliver high value (financial, service, innovation, competitive advantages) to the Cimpress brands through powerful procurement projects in the Raw Materials area of spend.
Typical Raw Materials subcategories include : Graphic papers, Packaging materials (corrugated, inner packaging), Signage products (banners, corrugated plastic, aluminum panels, labels), etc.
This position will be based in Barcelona, Spain and is part of a team, including the manager, who is based in the US.
The Category Manager role includes from strategy definition to project implementation :
Design, develop and implement the Category Procurement Strategy (for his / her scope of responsibility) :
Deliver the expected financial performance of the category Contribute to the annual budget, interact with the businesses to include their needs and expectations while encouraging maximum business engagement
Lead Supplier Management Develop and maintain relationships with the category suppliers :
Point of Contact : Be the trusted go to person for all businesses’ commercial procurement needs of the category :
Available to travel up-to 30% of his / her time, with peaks of 40%
