We’re recruiting a Quality Analyst / Software Development Engineer in Test to join our amazing Barcelona team!
Responsibilities :
Work with QA Lead and project stakeholders to build in quality, continuous integration and improve speed to Production
Support the scrum team (onshore & offshore) working on agile project
Support both Automation and Manual testing activities
Drive the estimation & planning of team tasks for each release, including identifying quality risks and constraints
Review your team’s test case suites, text execution progress and quality deliverables
Monitor and compile Automation test results and communicate these to the project team, drive toward continuous testing
Complete root cause analysis of quality issues
Escalate issues appropriately to project stakeholders
Evaluate new QA tools & processes and introduce tangible improvements to quality
Work with the latest automation technologies like Appium, Selenium, Groovy, Cucumber, Java, Spring, Postman / Newman, Javascript, RestAssured etc.
Contributing towards unified testing framework
What we look for / who would prosper in this role?
5+ years as an Automation Engineer
UI, Functional, Non-Functional & API testing
JAVA as the main Programming language
JAVASCRIPT would be a benefit
Selenium / Appium
Version control systems such as Git
Build tools such as Maven and Gradle
Continuous Integration & tools used for CI such as Jenkins
Cucumber or other automated testing tools
Familiar with...
Testing mobile applications (iOS, Android)
API testing of server applications
Automation of web services
PROJECT EXPERIENCE :
Strong analytical skills, logical and structured in approach
Experience supporting scrum teams with a mix of manual and Automation
Strong understanding of QA principles, methods and processes
Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools, preferably Jira
Experience is driving improvements in Automation, particularly in Appium and Selenium Web Driver, and the ability to contribute to the overall automation strategy
Strong organisational & communication skills
Desirable to have experience of working in an Agile environment
