This position is focus in the management of Middleware-MQ infrastructure for European countries where CIB is present. In addition to it, it is required to offer a L3 support to the rest of CIB regions on IBM MQ services.
Middleware-MQ infrastructure focus on MQ messages transfer and its associated services. The administrators of middleware-MQ will be responsible to offer the required performance for a very demanding service with critical applications and dataflow dependent on it.
As part of this role, the administrators of this platform have to ensure a high availability environment for these services, considered as critical for the business.
Due to large number of assets to manage with many hundreds of QManagers and thousands of queues, to be able to build and manage scripts to automatize the operative is a key point.
A Solace infrastructure is present in BNPP and managed from this team as well, so its team members as to get the required skills to manage it properly.
To do a proper follow-up of daily activity ensuring a high reactivity in case of incidents is a key part of his / her role, focusing on production topics as the main goal of the team.
To work following ITIL methodology is part of the daily basis and he has to check that all Middleware-MQ team members follow it.
To contribute on MQ Infrastructure BAU management ensuring a proper follow-up of major topics.
To contribute on Solace Infrastructure BAU management ensuring a proper follow-up of major topics.
To contribute to do a proper vulnerabilities remediation according to company rules.
To contribute in the design and implementation of new projects of the European countries.
To contribute to provide the required L3 support on IBM MQ and its linked products- to all CIB regions.
To follow ITIL methodology in the daily tasks.
Knowledge of the Norms and Standards of the BNP Paribas Group
Professional Knowledge & Expertise
MQ Series administration (3 years of expertise)
High expertise on Linux environments (advanced user skills not admin skills are needed)
Automation and scripting capabilities. Ansible skills will be valued.
Basic infrastructure knowledge : operating systems, datacenters, networks, storage etc

Languages & Qualifications
High English spoken and written fluent (B2 / C). Mandatory

On Site Services : From 7 : 00 to 19 : 30 schedule to cover in weekly shifts of 8 working hours / day
On Call Services : Out of regular schedule, we provide On Call services 24 / 7 to be covered in weekly shifts by team members.
BNPP is an international company, most of Spanish non-working days out of weekends are considered as business days, so they require Onsite support -but to be covered with a reduce number of staff-.
These days and the OnCall support have specific compensation, in the same way that if it is required to work in a scheduled activity on weekend.
