  • What You'll Do

    The Account Manager in Cisco is the key contact for our customers. You will own and nurture the relationships, building and executing the sales strategy.

    Your success will reflect in sales achievements, long term customer relationships and happiness.

    You will be the Senior Account Manager owning the sales activities of the Public Sector vertical in the North of Spain, that’s include regions as País Vasco, Navarra, La Rioja, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia.

    You will work with Global Virtual Sales, Marketing, Central EMEAR teams, Cisco Capital, Partner Organization, Services, Customer Experience, and all technology teams to drive Cisco sales via our partners as well as to deliver our message to the market and energize a whole region with Cisco vision and products.

    Duties and Responsibilities will include :

  • Builds strong relationships with the client at all management levels. You are able to create strong business relations between Cisco and the account at all requested levels.
  • Develops and drives a focused strategy towards the account by knowing the Account, the Market, the Cisco offerings and the organization’s delivery capabilities.
  • You are able to translate the chosen strategy into an action plan.

  • Develops a Business plan and individual Account Plans, which comprises the Account Profile, the Account Analysis, the Account Strategy, the Account Objectives and the Account Action Plan.
  • Develop & articulate sales strategies for all key opportunities and understand the buying cycle for the opportunities being pursued.
  • Achieves order intake targets for the Account portfolio under management.
  • Business reporting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development).
  • Ensures the desired position and market share, as set in the objectives, are achieved through the use of consistent messages in every aspect of the Account relationship and development on all appropriate levels.
  • Able to act in a complex sales environment in a senior hunter role
  • Act as primary focal point for the Account.

    You will work and collaborate closely with commercial, technical, customer experience, marketing teams and product specialists in Spain and across the regions to accelerate the impact of Cisco business.

    Who You Are

  • Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in sales, business development or technical sales
  • Preferably, has minimum 6-8 years’ experience in account management of key accounts for in Spain’s Public Sector and Education sector.
  • Responsible on business development and achievement of sales target
  • Consistent record in achieving sales target and experience in carrying multi-million dollar quota
  • Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred
  • Strong background and experience with solution selling of Business and IT solutions is highly desired
  • We are looking for self-starters, strong closer with multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Native Spanish and write and speak English fluently.
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Bilbao.
  • Desired Skills :

  • Knowledge of the Partner Community in the Public Sector Market.
  • Ability to match customer needs with state of the art technology solutions and partners to deliver them.
  • Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall.
  • Strong executive engagement and relationship builder and keeper.
  • Confidence in applying business and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Ability to use and engage internal resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services and others.
