What’s in It For You :
We are looking for a Sr. Payroll and HR Administration Expert to supervise and control the payroll and HR administration processes, including all the data update related to payroll data accuracy, social benefits administration, the whole employee life cycle (hirings, retirements, terminations), managing HR providers and invoices.
Payroll processes are outsourced to an external vendor.
What You Will Do :
Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Ensure HRIS (Workday) is up-to-date, especially in all aspects that can have an impact on payroll : salaries, variable payments, savings deductions, sick leaves, job title and department / division transfers
Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
Verify we are compliant with payroll liabilities by calculating employee income and social security taxes and employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests, supported by external vendor.
Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, certificates and new hire guides
Revise company policies
Liaise with external partners, like social benefits vendors, and ensure legal compliance
Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Minimum Qualifications :
BS in Human Resources or relevant field
Minimum of 2-3 years HR / Payroll experience
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Spanish labor law
Fluent level of Spanish, at least intermediate level of English
Experience with HR software (Workday or similar)
Knowledge of flexible compensation systems and / or international mobility is a plus.
