DNV’s Wind & Solar Technology Testing Team delivers high-quality analysis to ensure that wind turbines, solar plants, hydroelectric and other conventional power plants perform to expectations.
We are engineers, scientists and business people dedicated to the success of energy industry. We verify through measurements, simulations and certification processes that power plants will produce energy in line with expectations, and have a useful lifetime consistent with their design.
How do we imagine the ideal candidate for the Grid code compliance?
In particular the grid code compliance team consists of electrical engineers who are dealing with the verification of Grid Code Compliance performance of power plants, from early stages to final certification.
The team handles simulations, testing and assessment on behavior in events such Fault Ride through (FRT) - tests, harmonics, flicker, reactive and active power control and some others around the globe with emphasis in the home region in Spain.
Certainly, you are ambitious and want to manage projects with top energy players and a diverse array of developers and owners.
You want to have the perfect environment to learn electricity grid code compliance process, from early stages to final certification performing work at client facilities and also simulations at the office.
They main focus for the position would be office work regarding project certification in Spain, simulations and assessment.
You want to find the perfect place to apply technical hardware, software and engineering skills by running complex analyses in a company whose technical expertise spans the energy industry.
You are a trained engineer or scientist with a keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency to effectively communicate what you see and what options you propose to move forward.

The job will be based in Zaragoza, Barcelona or Madrid (depending on the preference of the successful applicant), however a minimum stay of one year in Madrid office will be required for training purpose.
