SUMMARY The Business Solutions Analyst, EMEA is a key member of the global professional services team, and contributes to the successful delivery of programmes.

The role is project based and will involve client facing responsibilities. The role spans requirements engineering and specification, process design, change management and solution assessment and validation.

You will work in close collaboration with Solution Architecture, Programme Management, Implementation Management, Operations and Sales teams to contribute to successful programme delivery for our customers.

You will contribute to the overall business process and functional design for both pilot and rollout programmes, become a subject-

matter-expert in Tyco's store performance solutions and also gain exposure to pre-sales activity in a competitive environment.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with IT and Business stakeholders, establishing relationships across different time zones and cultures.

This position will be based in Europe (Madrid, Spain) and will involve a significant amount of travel in the EMEA region, for both internal and customer facing activities, as well as occasional trips to the divisional headquarters in North America.

  • JOB RESPONSABILITIES Solution SME : You will become an expert in the functional use and configuration of Tyco's store performance solutions;
  • you will be called upon by the wider team for input and advice on the application of Tyco's solutions in customer environments.

    Functional Design : You will be responsible for the elicitation of customer requirements and the definition of business processes.

    You will be responsible for analysing client needs and translating business processes into an implementable design. Solutions Assessment and Validation : You will be responsible for validating the delivered solution against the functional design to ensure the solution meets the specification and also analyse further opportunities for process optimisation.

    You will work in close collaboration with the Implementation Management team to validate new product releases in a lab environment.

    Change Management : You will assist the customer with the planning and implementation of the change management activities that are required to deliver a successful store performance solutions programme.

    These activities will include stakeholder engagement, process validation, end-user training and post-implementation reviews.

    Business Intelligence and Data Analysis : You will be responsible for assisting our client measure programme success. This will involve the investigation, evaluation, interpretation and aggregation of large datasets, in order to measure success and present key performance metrics.

    Pre-Sales : You will gain exposure to the pre-sales phase of opportunities, working in collaboration with other team members in order to formulate responses to RFIs and RFPs in a competitive environment.

    You will assist with the development and presentation of business solution material to a diverse set of IT and business stakeholders and deliver compelling demonstrations of proposed solutions.

    Occasionally you will participate in company sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Tyco's solutions in the marketplace.

    Contribution to Product Roadmap : You will assimilate and consolidate customer requests for product enhancements and feed these back to the product management team in order to influence the strategic roadmap and value proposition of our solutions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in a customer facing Business Analysis role.
  • Direct retail experience including store operations, inventory management, supply chain, and loss prevention would be advantageous. Job Skills
  • Have experience with Business Analysis techniques such as requirements elicitation and business process modelling.
  • You will have knowledge of Waterfall and Agile software development techniques.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders, together with the ability to facilitate workshops and deliver presentations in relation to business solutions.
  • Develops long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals. Maintain and grow respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers to pave the way for future interactions.
  • Ability to travel as required (40% - 70%).
  • Strong command of English is required (verbal & written). An additional European language (e.g., German / Spanish / Italian / French) is a plus. Non-Technical Competencies
