This position is a member of the SAP Basis team within ERP - Architecture and Infrastructure Services. The is responsible for the technical aspects of enhancing, updating and deploying critical changes, design new solutions and create procedures in the SAP area.
This role updates the SAP software configurations, integrations and upgrades, as required by the business. You will support ERP application team with their new and changing requirements, projects and act as second level for the ongoing operational activities done by the outsource team.
As part of the ERP Basis team, your main responsibilities will be :
Provide technical support and maintain consistent configuration, implementation, operation support of the SAP Basis including : Implement new SAP / Business Object release and set up standards for operational management;
Resolve complex problems;Manage and maintain SAP Basis support services;Configure, implement and optimize SAP systems;Manage incidents, problems, changes and releases,Tune capacity and performance;
Comply with OLAs and QA requirements;Develops and maintains know-how on the ERP Basis systems and processes applied in the area;
Work with functional teams and the architecture team to determine best practices for future landscapes
Create, review, update and maintain standard operational procedure documentation relating to SAP application support processes
Participating in implementation of new projects and in changes of existing solutions;
Improve and design new solutions, components, and processes;
Providing operational expertise for solution and component design, optimization, changes and problem resolution;
Identifying and analyzing potential areas for improvement of SAP systems (pro-active problem management) and delivering continuous improvement;

Professional experience in the area of SAP Basis including Experience with SAP Basis / Hana in a high compute environmentExperience on SAP Solution Manager activities including, EWA setup, E2E, SD and CHARM configurationInstall and configuration of HANA server, stand-
alone SLT Replication Server, add on in ECC for SLTInstallation and support of ERP / Business Suite on HANACreate and configure connection SLT to HANA, SLT to ECCMigration of other database to HANA experienceConfigure monitoring of SAP HANA Databases(DCC)Unix and Linux Administration experienceExperience in reviewing the system performance and provide recommendations for improvementsBO services initial configuration and job administrationAbility to develop and modify shell scripts to automate proceduresDeep understanding of the process required to capture a thread and heap dump and analyze the resultsStrong technical and problem solving skillsAbility to document and translate business requirements to provide technology solutionsSAP database administration based on OracleExperience in SAP InstallationsSAP Net Weaver operational problem troubleshootingSAP upgrade, BW upgrade, Oracle upgrade, kernel upgrades SAP WEB AS java administration, PortalsExperience with in the following SAP applications : SAP ECC6, SAP PI, SAP BW, HANA, BOBJ, CRM, CLM, SAP Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager
5-9 years’ experience working in a major, global organization preferably in a regulated Industry in multiple technical domains;
Strong hands-on technical skills, operational background, and working experience with infrastructure technologies and business applications;
Excellent analytic skills with ability to quickly understand complex and sometimes ambiguous situations; good strategic capabilities;
Fluent in verbal and written English, any additional language skills are an asset (German, Spanish, etc.);
Availability to travel when required and reasonably flexible working hours to collaborate with other regional / global time zones;
