Overview : This position is for a Senior Business Analyst located in Valencia Ca.
Reporting Structure : This position reports to the Business Systems Manager
Tasks and Responsibilities :
Maintain the partnership between business needs and technology
Assess information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and collaborate with end users and developers to achieve these outcomes.
Interpret and translate business requirements into application specifications
This position is expansive and may also have other delegated responsibilities and duties assigned
ERP integration from legacy systems into centralized Oracle E-Business systems
This position may require the ability to periodically work a flexible schedule to support on-call, change windows and other non-core business hour activities
Qualifications and Skills :
Experience with ERP implementations
An understanding of Business Objects and SQL Server Reporting Services and other BI systems.
An understanding of relational databases.
An understanding of SQL for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
Awareness of web application functionality and modern web user interfaces.
The technical knowledge to guide business decisions.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases & (Agile) methodologies
Working knowledge of software testing methodologies including requirements traceability, defect management, defect analysis, injection / detection analysis, defect remediation, etc.
5 years related experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Effective time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data, and computer skills
Ability to work independently while part of a team
Education Requirements : BS degree in computer sciences or related discipline
