We are looking for an experienced and innovative Enterprise Architect (EA) and leader to work in our Global Enterprise Architecture Team to develop and maintain Platform Application & Integration strategies, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to guide them in making the right investments in technology and innovation.
As Enterprise Architect, you provide technology strategy and architecture leadership and direction to the Roche Group worldwide.
You ensure that relevant integration technologies and standards are used and applied to enable strong and seamless integration of applications and data in support of Roche’s business strategies and processes.
Your main responsibilities are : Deliver clear value-driven technology strategies and roadmaps to support our IT Business Partners to proactively respond to digital transformation and disruption.
Provide insights and input for better decision making to help build the capabilities required by our IT Partners and consumers of our services.
Lead and inspire the technology transformation from roadmap to realization by conducting assessments, innovation, prioritizing standards and influencing investments.
Assess technologies and trends in a methodical way to gain insights based on recommendations that fit the Roche environment.
Analyze current technology environment to identify deficiencies and recommending solutions, as well as staying abreast of emerging security technologies and trends and apply them where appropriateFacilitate engagement and foster collaboration with stakeholders (e.
g. application development teams & infrastructure teams) and architecture partners to ensure consistency in direction and decision-making.
Facilitate stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify requirements, evaluate technology solutions and collaborate with Engineering to execute proof-of-concepts for new / emerging technologies.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to articulate the technical strategies, architecture and roadmaps to various levels in the organizationConsult on technical architecture implementation activities with all stakeholders and Solution Owners to ensure alignment.
analyze gaps to create a risk profile for the proposed strategy.Who You AreYou have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in large, complex or multi-national companies.
Ideally, you have strong business knowledge in the Pharma / Biotech industry and associated processes and you bring the following qualifications : 10 to 15 years of experience on managing application development platforms and frameworks, integration patterns and tools, and workflows and business process automation, for both on-premise and cloud deployed solutions in medium to large global enterprises with global geographical topologiesExcellent understanding of Application Development technology domains such as API Management, event driven architectures, MASA solutions, application development platforms, process automation like BPM / DPA / RPA, cloud first design patterns, containerized applications and best practices and knowledge of architectural patterns, and the ability to define them.
Significant design / implementation / consulting experience with distributed applicationsLeverage an agile and adaptive ecosystem to support the application development, citizen development and the ecosystem of integration to provide the right tools to speed up the time to market, support the digital transformation and also maintains up to date the technology that supports those environmentsThe ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value and proven experience in Agile environments.
