We are starting up another Global Innovation Centre in Barcelona to add to our portfolio of IT TechLabs around the world.

Role and Responsibilities

IWG operate large-scale, highly-available infrastructure supporting terabytes of data that are growing very fast (IWG user base is shifting to digital self-service applications and pushing the boundaries of our current systems).

Ready for a Challenge? In this role you will be the Technical System lead for our new and extensively evolving CRM solutions.

These CRM solutions play a major role for our customer services, sales and the financial performance of IWG and are mission critical.

All of our Sales and Marketing solutions are developed, configured and tested via a combination of IWG Full-Time employees (FTEs), Contactors and Partners (who develop run and operate under our management).

This role will work as a key member of our IT Team and take part in leading a core system consolidation, decommissioning, migration and transformation to new Sales and Marketing Systems (including a largescale MS Dynamics global rollout programme).

Main responsibilities include :

  • Be a positive leader and motivator
  • Maintain systems roadmaps (for feature config and development)
  • Lead core systems consolidation, decommissioning, migration projects
  • Lead Global rollout of MS Dynamics Sales and Support
  • Lead Partners, Contractors and FTEs across our CRM Solutions
  • Design, manage, maintain all quality and performance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics across all CRM Solutions
  • Support post go live issues management and escalations (via support team)
  • Be prepared for unplanned accelerated requirements
  • Maintain deep system and business knowledge
  • Be responsible for e2e CRM systems support and availability
  • Ensure this knowledge can be replicated, transferred to FTEs and partners (in a structured induction programme)
  • Lead, manage, train, onboard and induct CRM Systems team members
  • Manage overall culture and motivation of the team

    To be considered for this role - you will need to have experience in as many of the areas below as possible :

  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Sales and Support)
  • Global or Multi-country rollout of MS Dynamics CRM
  • Advanced CMS systems experience
  • Experience as a Technical Systems Owner
  • Have a strong monitoring, support and operational approach
  • Experience in software and system Development / Configurations / Support
  • Experience with Software development and architectures (Cloud and Hosted)
  • Be part of our after-hours / on-call rotation for escalation
  • Strong drive to keep ahead and quickly learn new technologies
  • Agile software development
  • Understanding of Software Development, System design, Digital, Web, Mobile, UX standards, solutioning and specification
  • Excellent Team Leadership, motivation, coordination and issues Mgt skills
  • Experience working with Executive and C-Level Mgt
  • Line management (5 - 10 minimum)
  • Experience managing FTEs, contractors and partners
  • Working with remote or distributed teams on a Global basis
  • Setting up and managing a Dev and Support Practice (Centre of Excellence)
  • Setting up an induction programme - maintaining a repeatable process

    Skills and Training :

  • BSc (Engineering, Computer Science or related) required, MSc or above preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years IT Experience
  • Excellent English, communication and presentation skills
  • Good negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Exposure and working level knowledge of working with and interfacing to global delivery teams
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Good commercial understanding and awareness
