What you will be doing
The Sales Executive will carry a sales quota for the region based on Total Contract Value (TCV) of the new business sales achieved during the period.
Commission will be payable as per FIS standard terms and conditions.
The role will cover the full sales process and associated tasks and duties including but not limited to : helping organize and steer marketing campaigns, direct cold calling and lead generation, expanding contacts within existing accounts plus establishing meaningful contacts amongst new prospects.
As such there is a large amount of travel required, the position will involve regular face to face activity across the following countries : Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Greece.
Proactively manage and build contacts across the entire the Iberian & Greek region.
Ensure Annual Target Quotas are met and ideally exceeded.
Place a large emphasis on generating brand new business with regional Financial Institutes
Work as part of a Sales / SAM delivery team to both manage existing customers and up / cross sell services into the client base for Post Trade Derivatives, Collateral and Securities Finance Applications
Establish and help build a robust partnership network capable of providing high quality leads and strong business recommendations within the region.
Lead opportunities from start to finish including lead gen, sales meetings, workshops and contract negotiation.
Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each major opportunity
Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
Building and developing relationship to work with key client and new prospects at all relevant levels
Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics)
Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends
Developing the ability to cross / up-sell across a full solution suite and associated delivery models (ASP / IMS / On-Premise).
What you bring :
Proven track record of generating & closing new business in strategic accounts across the assigned Territory;
Ability to handle complex enterprise Finance solutions across multiple business lines
Suitable gravitas to hold business meetings with business Heads of Departments, C-Level and IT Operations within large Tier 1 & 2 banks.
Added bonus if you have :
Prior experience covering banking market within Iberian region
Minimum of 6 years working experience in similar marketplace
Industry knowledge within Capital Markets software is desirable but not essential
