We are looking for a data-driven AB Testing Manager to join our Experiments and Insights team based in our HQ in Barcelona, Spain.
You will be responsible for leading a business critical team responsible for the data-based development and decision making.
Responsibilities (included but not limited to) :
Develop and champion a data-driven culture across the business and ensure experimentation is at the heart of our decision making.
Define experimentation best practices, in terms of methodologies, processes and tools; implement these across the business working with stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally to build organizational safeguards against common testing pitfalls.
Scale the use of experimentation across the organization meeting twin objectives of ensuring valid results while supporting the speed of delivery.
Build reporting & analytics to enable the organization to measure the impact & benefits of experimentation.
Understand our users journey; understand the conversion funnel both quantitatively as well as qualitatively and be able to triangulate different business activities into actionable insights.
Manage a team of analysts and data scientists; drive a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization;
negotiate and resolve problems and escalate as required.
Lead the research and development of new experimentation methodologies and leverage them to continually improve customer experience, conversion rates, and revenue for the company.
Develop cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders critical to delivering the company objectives.
Establish and realize the vision, goals, roadmaps for the team.
Strong project management skills, ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
Be a key point of contact for business teams & prioritize tasks based on the impact on business.
Be able to manage different levels of stakeholders & play the role of analytics project manager on key strategic topics.
Desired Skills and Experience :
Past experience building & leading experiments teams at an e-commerce business
Passion to build data-driven culture : an outstanding analytical mindset that enjoys working with data.
4-5 years of experience leading a team in an analytics-oriented setting and 2+ years of experience and strong knowledge of hypothesis-driven evidence-based online experiments (AB testing, MABs etc).
Very strong analytical and project management skills in e-Commerce, digital marketing, online companies.
Organized team player with attention to details & focused on results & productivity; exceptional problem-solving skills, self-driven with strong time management skills & ability to drive change.
Hands on experience with online and offline Analytics tools QlikView, MicroStrategy, R / Python, SQL, Excel.
Fluent in English and good communication skills as you will be interacting with various stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
Education : Minimum Bachelors in Engineering or a strong scientific discipline with a strong foundation in Statistics.
