Job Description
The role of the Technology Risk Officer is to analyse and assess whether sufficient controls have been appropriately designed and implemented effectively in order to reach management’s goals.
Within the Group Assets and Risks department, you will be part of the IT Risk and Audit team, covering the management of risks for IT Management, Infrastructure, Operations, Development, Cyber and Information Security activities for the EMEA region.
Your primary area of expertise will be IT audits in local entities and providing recommendations to the Business Leaders.
You may also cover other types of risks in your daily work (e.g. projects, programmes, etc.). The tasks will be :
Preparing work programmes (audit questionnaires or risk assessments) in relation to the specific areas to be evaluated
Executing risk and audit assessments in accordance with professional standards, at all levels of the Organisation : Central Services, Regional Infrastructure, Laboratories within the assigned region
Making relevant recommendations to initiate improvements in the Eurofins governance, process control, and risk reduction
Verbally communicating results in a clear manner with a problem-solving approach
Producing clear and high-quality reports to formally communicate audit results to management
Following up on the implementation of agreed action plans
Maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholder and partners (IT and business).

Technical Skills :
Understanding of the Risk Management and / or Audit processes
Understanding of IT processes, IT development and / or cyber / information security controls
Education and / or Experience :
Master’s degree in Information Technology or another relevant subject
No prior experience necessary but professional certification or commitment to obtain one (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC etc) is required
