What We Are Looking for
ISGlobal is seeking a medical doctor to provide support in the implementation of child health research mainly in the framework of the large-scale ICARIA clinical trial (safety monitoring, support to the start-up of studies) as well as to provide support in other tasks such as the collection and analysis of data or the design of new studies focused on maternal and child health.
Medical sciences / child health
Training and experience / Qualifications
Higher education and experience in Child health in SubSaharan Africa, training and experience in research / global health, Low Income Country children healthcare, child health research
Neonatal health / child health
Global health diploma, master degree or similar
Review of Severe Adverse Events (SAEs) reports ICARIA trial
Support to preparation and start-up of ICARIA project studies (i.e. Macrolide resistance, Interaction with EPI vaccines).
Assistance in writing grant proposals.
Support to other research / capacity building activities of the Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health Initiative as required

Salary Range : Compensation for this position will be based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications. Based on the internal scales.
