The Africa management team is based in Casablanca, Morocco. The group operates throughout the continent through 15 local offices.

Annual revenues amount to approx. 80M€ and the current headcount is around 600 people in Africa. With an ambitious business plan, the Africa management team is driving and supporting the growth and performance of the various business lines of the Group in Africa and ensuring the geographical consistency of the Egis Group's strategy and development

Job description

As a member of the Africa Management Committee (ManCo), with a dual reporting line to the Africa Managing Director and the Group HR Director, you will support the ManCo in their strategic thinking, and define and implement the regional HR policy on a daily basis.

In close alignment and partnership with the Business Lines HR directors, you will develop the attractiveness and development of careers in a very dynamic acquisition and recruitment context, support organizational, cultural and managerial transformations, and build a social dialogue that meets the challenges of transformation.

You will ensure consistency with the Group's HR policy in your area, using the tools, services and objectives already defined, and will develop transversality within the region.

More specifically, you will ensure :

  • The definition and implementation of the regional HR policy in support of the strategic business project
  • Supporting managers on all HR issues and on the implementation of the necessary organizational changes
  • Deployment of the multi-year strategic HR roadmap and transformation projects (workforce planning, integration of acquired companies, compensation & benefits, continuous performance management, evolution of working methods and managerial practices, diversity...)
  • Steering and implementation of recruitment plans, internal mobility, talent management including learning & development, change management.
  • Managing and supervising projects and activities related to personnel administration and employee data within your scope, digitalization of HR process, deploying the group directives on HRIS
  • Defining the appropriate social approach in the context of the various projects, leading the social dialogue with the social partners and employees
  • Direct management of the local HR team
  • Human resources internal communication
  • Deployment of specific group, regional and local HR projects
  • Profile

    HR Director with 10 years of experience in a changing organization, supported by structured HR processes, the ideal candidatewill have experience in the following areas :

  • Definition / optimization of HR procedures and policies
  • HR operations management, including HRIS and data management
  • Designing innovative programs with a significant impact on the business ("HR as a booster")
  • Promotion of the employer brand and development of employee engagement
  • Management of industrial relations (regulatory, disciplinary, etc.)
  • Business transformation support : integrations, managerial support to organizational transformation
  • Team management
  • Professional skills required :

  • Architect of change, you build the support of the collective to achieve your objectives and facilitate decision-making through your listening and negotiation skills
  • Curiosity and determination
  • Analytical mindset, with an appetite for data and performance indicator management.
  • Field experience with a very operational vision of HR and its impact on the business
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Pack office, in particular very good command of Excel
