For our Managed Services team in Spain we are looking for a motivated, experiences and open minded Unix / Linux Operating Systems Analyst (Managed Services Operation Analyst).
Job Level Summary
Open operating systems profile (Linux profile) that performs technical tasks in managing the shared services infrastructure, ensuring service availability, and suggesting process improvements.
Linux Profile - Knowledge / experience required :
Linux Operating Systems Tasks : Installation, configuration, tuning and support (mainly RHEL).
Applications Tasks : Installation, configuration, tuning and support.
Applications Versions : Apache / NGinx, Tomcat / JBoss.
Scripting : programming scripting skills (i.e. bash, Python, Ansible).
Automation : automation oriented mind.
Microsoft Windows : Knowledge in Microsoft Windows Administration, PowerShell, IIS and other Microsoft products will be valuable.
Other Requirements :
Certifications are a bonus.
Ability to work well within a team, in a fast-paced environment.
Main language is Spanish : Excellent communication skills both oral and written in Spanish.
English required (medium level).
Tasks - Responsibilities :
Provide support on escalations for technical issues within IT Operations. Offer suggestions for resolution of these issue and support to ensure a better experience of our customers.
Review technical processes (e.g. provisioning lead time, effectivity) within the IT Operations and identify opportunities for process improvement;
may lead process solutions.
Identify, manage, resolve and document issues and provide root cause analysis when necessary (postmortem analysis).
Write documentation (can be technical & non-technical) for work being completed within own teams.
Workplace located in Alcobendas, Madrid (Spain), Barcelona or Seville
Possibility of work from home after two months of trial (during the health alert, working from home will be the preferred option).
Workday 8x5 : Flexible schedule : M-T 8’5 hours (From 8 : 00 / 9 : 30 to 17 : 00 / 18 : 30) and F ’45 hours (7 : 30 / 9 : 30 to 14 : 15 / 16 : 15).
