In this role you will be responsible to deliver and to orchestrate the delivery of a Modern Workplace environment to all ABB’s end users worldwide.

You will coordinate and supervise internal and external 3rd party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the endpoint services, ensuring its continuous improvement and compliance.

Endpoint services includes design, manage and maintenance of the MDM solution for Mobile devices and Mac devices including device enrollment and provisioning, designing configuration policies and profiles, software distribution and maintenance of compliance policies.

This role reports to the Modern Endpoint Management Service Owner in Global End User Workplace Services.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing end to end operations for one of the biggest service line with 75K+ mobile devices and Mac devices.
  • Key contributor to the global transformation and adoption of modern endpoint management services.
  • Key contributor on the implementation of MDM solution for provisioning of Mobile devices, software deployment and configuration strategies with the change of technology landscape.
  • Reviews and approve endpoint management tools architecture changes.
  • Collaborate with the service owner and the architecture team to create the service roadmap for corporate device and BYOD device rollout and with the Mobility services owner to agree on future standards.
  • Raise endpoint management improvement requirements and ensures they are implemented with high quality.
  • Ensures the entire endpoint services and sub-services provided and reported by support partners are highly available and compliant, including the management of end point manager software (servers and endpoints), and infrastructure (hosting and network).
  • Verifies the user experience of endpoint management services, and continuously registers and implement changes to improve it.
  • Approves clean up and deployment of configuration policy changes executed by support partner, according to the business and InfoSec requirements.
  • Keep up with the technology changes and advanced toolset to provide state of the art solution.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to the support partner and ABB teams on operational procedures and guidelines design.
  • Be a service point of contact with ABB end users and customers, as well as an escalation point for services disruption.
  • Coordinate, monitor, vendor providing support for the operations, changes, enhancements and upgrades to the MDM environment.
  • Your background

  • In-depth knowledge of converting business demand into effective technical solution.
  • Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management Tools (Microsoft Intune and Jamf) and Identity Management (Azure AD)
  • Expertise in managing the service line for large scale industrial portfolio.
  • Proactive in Continual Service Improvement, always open to adopt new and innovative IS techniques and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate among service owners to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage supplier, vendor, OEM to build an effective solution to match business requirements.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the relevant service area are required.
  • ITIL certification v3 or v4, Microsoft Azure certifications for MDM and related infrastructure. Jamf certification will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Experience in IS risk, security, and compliance.
  • Advanced usage Reporting analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a nice to have.
