We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Enablement Training Manager to join our rapidly growing Slough site. The position will be responsible for advancing the commercial competencies of the commercial teams including sales management, front line sales, and other enabling customer-facing teams needed to meet the business goals for Lonza Small Molecule (SM) and our customers.
Key accountabilities for the role fall under 4 main areas :
1) Onboarding :
New starter curriculum maintenance on Online Learning Resource Centre (OLRC)
Building of new starter onboarding plans incorporating the appropriate skill set for the role
Coaching of the new starter in their first weeks with Lonza in order to complete the onboarding plan and to plan effectively for their onboarding
2) Training :
Responsible for the planning and execution of site training events at any one of our 5 global sites. This may be in person or remote as needed
Responsible for maintenance of all training material uploaded to our OLRC (Brainshark), timely renewal and replacement of outdated material, and addition of new material.
Responsible for the coordination of other training events within SM with our commercial colleagues and the capture of those events and their attendance in the OLRC
3) Sales Effectiveness :
Coordinate other commercial effectiveness programs as identified by commercial leadership
Build and maintain critical external relationships with professional societies and organisations identified as Strategic Partners
4) Relationship Management :
The position is accountable for representations across all SM initiatives in which there may be a root cause that identifies a lack of commercial acumen or capability and from there develop corrective action incorporating training materials where necessary to resolve.
5 years’ experience in a training and enablement role with a global commercial organisation, preferably in the biotechnology space.
In so doing, a proven capability to fulfill the key accountabilities as outlined above.

Strong communication skills in multiple settings and sensitivity to cultural uptake of training
High level of touchpoint skills. This role requires a dynamic individual, able to rapidly make and maintain relationships across a highly matrix organisation
Comfortable communicating with leadership and challenging senior leadership where required
Process improvement and problem solving
Ability to work cross-functionally in a solutions oriented manner
Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
Comfortable holding others to account
