Responsabilidades Generales

HR BUSINESS PARTNER - Labour Relations :

The purpose of our Employee Relations HRBP is to ensure fair and respectful engagement with our employees in all aspects of the employee experience at Hertz, consistent with our culture and values.

In this role you will work to ensure the highest level of trust and integrity between Hertz and its employees in addressing ER concerns, so that our people can focus on their customers.

Providing support to our people manager on employee relations cases, putting into practice our policies and procedures whilst ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Also work on projects, providing guidance to support HR and business initiatives as well as being proactive in identifying and mitigating emerging issues and support solutions for these

Key Responsabilities :

  • Manage Employee Relations cases, in line with ER policy, processes, tools and frameworks based on current legislation, best practice and business needs;
  • Be part of the CLA Company negotiation team which include support to the Labour strategy in the correct preparation and analysis.
  • Also play an active role in the negotiation process with the HR Director and the rest of Company’ team.

  • Effectively managing and prioritising a caseload of often complex people-related issues including guiding management and staff during disciplinary processes, and owning end to end management of grievances, business restructures and redundancies, welfare cases and staff disputes.
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinary hearings, and manage grievances in line with Hertz policy and best practice
  • Support HR Business Partners in managing communication to any Union, workers councils or representation councils in relations to employee relations or change management processes.
  • Coach Line Managers on effective management of ER issues, ensuring they take accountability, that they have the required capability and skill set to deliver the right outcomes and assist in building their confidence;
  • Help design and implement policies to create consistent and efficient Talent processes related to ER, while maintaining scope for leaders to exercise judgement
  • Support People Managers with pre-disciplinary issues e.g. sickness absence reviews, procedure adherence, PIP process, and conduct & behaviour concerns.
  • Collate data & statistics relating to ER cases, analysing trends and reporting key data to HRBP teams.
  • Be the contact with Finance department (accounting entries, HR accounting, advance payments, etc)
  • Support Payroll process
  • Design and deliver training as and when required
  • Ad hoc support to HRBP Team

  • Can build high trust and impactful relationships with employees and leaders
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Be able to build up sustainable and truthful relations with the Unions.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to apply it to ER issues
  • Displays excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate outcomes of sensitive topics to employees as well as Executive Leaders
  • Has a passion to collaborate with others to get to optimal outcomes on complex topics
  • Excellent facilitation skills with hands-on experience in facilitation or mediation in the workplace
  • Hands-on experience of (Country) Workplace Relations Commission and Labour Court system in (Country)
