Your Role & Responsibilities
Work with customer to edit and sign a technical matrix for the application he needs.
Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.
Develop and release with Global Team the new standards to be applied for his specific application
Developing and authoring technical validation reports and specifications to be used for internal engineering and external customer documentation
DFMEA / PFMEA processes to provide understand and improve validation related issues to improve a design based on test failures prior to mass production
Blueprint reading and interpretation & specification of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Assist with preparation and execution of test units
Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications with observations and conclusions
Apply engineering practices to reach design solutions
Participate in innovation, product cost and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in cross-functional teams related to customer program launch activity
Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to insure product design for high value and manufacturability
Your Skills & Strengths
BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher
Experience in development of precision products for 5+ years
Understanding of Principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical) and engineering design
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Basic 3D modeling
Good interpersonal skills
Good written and oral skills ability to write effective test reports
Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
Enjoy working in a hand on environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good results orientation and strong work ethic
