We are looking for a :

Iberia Health and Personal Care Strategic Account Manager

Will be responsible for :

  • Strategic Account manager for the Health and Personal Care business in Iberia
  • Sales rep for Health and Personal Care business for North East Spain.
  • Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job :

    Plan and implement sales to specific, very major accounts where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and account management skills are critical.

    Accountable for creating a strategic supplier alliance with designated accounts that provides bioMerieux with a unique competitive advantage and dominant account share.

    Main Accountabilities :

  • Plan how to establish and maintain major account relationships in order to achieve annual sales objectives (growth, revenue, margin) for the defined product ranges
  • Participate with Business Development, Sales & Marketing teams in the development of sales strategies for the Key accounts, help identifying target accounts and opportunities within the defined territory
  • Work with Global Marketing / Sales to ensure that any world-wide agreements are aligned with sales strategy
  • Work closely with Field Sales Teams to close strategic key account opportunities : visit qualified national prospects, generate quotation, renew standing orders and reagent pricing agreements for key contracts by their due date.
  • Have final Pricing authority.

  • Provide marketing and competitive information to Corporate and Field organizations, having a complete understanding of each Key Account’s business needs
  • Initiate any Special Value Added programs at Corporate accounts. Host VIP, Customer User Symposiums and / or Sales Symposiums.
  • Participate and support local, regional, national, international trade shows.


    Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

    Studies-Experience :

  • Scientific or business degree
  • Minimum 3 years business-to-business and / or corporate account sales experience with strong understanding & integration of the strategic selling process and contract management
  • Knowledge of bioMérieux products ranges & competitors offer
  • Sgnificant experience in territory sales and full knowledge of the product line and its application, under the guidance of more experience National Key Account Managers, learns how to build and cement strong client relationships that support long term sales objectives
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Excellent integrator & negotiator. C-Suite trained. Ability to judge competitive response to sales strategy and make appropriate adjustments
  • Ability to work out a profitability scheme for bioMérieux and customers
  • Languages : - Spanish mothertongue. - English Fluent.- Catalan Fluent (Desired)
