Industrial and Maintenance Optimization Manager

Purpose of the job
Manages Industrial and Maintenance Optimization activities within the maintenance engineering scope
Project Manager, Engineering, Technical teams, Supply Chain, Industrial, Quality, Depot managers, Supervisors, Team leaders,
Manages maintenance engineering resources
Creates the maintenance engineering strategy, including maintenance plan and maintenance documentation
Defines and secures the compliance of those required project engineering management plans : e.g. Configuration / Maintenance Documentation / Modifications / RAMS /
Produces the industrial development plan and work breakdown.
Secure the provision of the required engineering deliverables during maintenance projects execution
Monitors progress of engineering studies and Q,C,D achievements.
Supports the implementation and update of engineering risks mitigation plan.
Maintains and develops industrial and maintenance optimization skills and competencies (leveraging with WCE).
Collaborate with Services Engineering and Platforms to improve Services portfolio of products and services.
Participates actively in the Services Engineering network.
Applies the Project Configuration and Design Change Management and Engineering Management Processes.
Manages the technical and industrial performances of the systems and provide REX to relevant Services Platform.
Supports cost reduction actions, with Sourcing and Industrial.
Detects, defines and implements the modifications of the maintained products or in maintenance plan & documentation to improve the reliability and serviceability, in order to reduce project costs and improve the performances of the systems.
Proposes innovative solutions and develops and implements R&D programs and new technologies in the maintenance project.
Supports the Project and Product Safety management system ensuring safety risks are mitigated in a timely manner.
Contributes to the application of the Obsolescence Management Plan.
Captures and ensures ownership of regulations and standards to be applied.
Interfaces with the stakeholders in the Certification processes and certification securement.
Is responsible for QCD targets on his scope.
Ensure technical support to the workshops in the scope of the maintenance project.

Manages a team of 5 to 20 engineers (depending on the projects)
Performance measurements :
OTD, QCD, PMC, Project reliability / availability / cost targets
University degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
English : advanced level
Lean engineering / industrial
French : medium level
Proven experience in team management
5 years of experience in Railways system / Application engineering or industrial
Knowledge of rolling stock equipment and maintenance processes
Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment
Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP, BI / BO
