The Supply Chain manager will be responsible for the full Logistics management of the Pallecon businesses, both Planning & Execution :
Development of Sales and Operations Planning. Forecasting to predict product demand & product returns. Develop strategic scenarios to ensure the most optimal use of the CHEP Network in Automotive business.
Responsible for delivering the daily order fulfilment plan. Lead the daily planning and allocation of orders for all type of flows (collections, deliveries, relocations.
materials and qualities identifying the most effective origin and destination flow to optimize and met our Supply Chain objectives (stock optimization).
Responsible for executing all logistics activity for Pallecon business (IBCs and liners) providing an efficient service to its customers (Manufacturers and Distributors) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities :
Drive Sales and Operations planning (S&OP) that partners with key functions in the development of monthly demand forecasts and supply requirements.
Lead the process for identifying, developing, and implementing advanced planning methods, systems, and tools, striving for optimisation.
Develop and track production plans for containers and liners to maximise service performance, minimise customer lead times and optimise stock levels and flows.
Lead planning of outsourced liners (intercontinental manufacturers)
Order processing for Customer and Distributors managed efficiently, effectively and in a timely way (ensure highest levels of customer service, customer service failures are documented and managed, manage exceptions and emergencies)
Ensure delivery of optimal supply plan (flows and production) + minimum capex requirements at the adequate service level
Supply chain budgeting and cost analysis and tracking, working closely with Operations & Finance and providing scenarios and contingency planning framework and optimising costs.
Monitor, track and improve day to day transporter quality and performances
Logistics Support for CHEP internal and external customers and Logistics Key point of contact
Supervise the team of logistics / transport executives to ensure all deliveries and collections are driven on the most efficiency manner at the lowest cost
Qualifications to be expected :
University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Understanding of industry tools e.g. JDA / Manugistics, i2, Red Prairie, Manhattan Assoc. Lean / Six sigma experience.
M / soft, SAP, SQL
Desirable Experience :
Project management 3-5 years planning management operations, facility engineering, supply chain or logistics experience.
Management of cross cultural teams
Skills & Knowlege required :
Demonstrated ability to drive solutions at all levels of an organization
Demonstrated outstanding project management skills
Demonstrated track record of obtaining results and driving solutions
Familiarity with Manugistics / JDA, SAP, BW. Computer basics (Office, Excel, Access, ..)
English proficiency is a must - other EU languages are highly valued.
