What will you do :

  • Responsible for database administration and maintenance with high availability setup;
  • Support Database Team with periodic database refresh, database upgrade and patches.
  • Troubleshooting issues on business-critical system;
  • Performance and tuning database systems;
  • Implementing improvements and automations to limit manual effort within database operations;
  • Providing operational support for ongoing projects and changes.
  • Qualifications

    What do we expect from you?

  • Good English, German will be advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years in depth full time Sybase administration experience with Replication
  • Minimum of 3 years in depth full time for another DB Product like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Mongo-DB administration
  • Experienced in automating DBA-tasks with Ansible and Microservice architectures
  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills in complex HA-Systems
  • Advanced skills in Unix
  • Proficient at scripting with Shell, Perl, Ansible
  • Advanced knowledge in GitLab, CI-CD
  • Knowledge of requirements in the banking industry, especially security, logging, regulatory requirements
  • Willingness to work outside regular office hours and take over of on-call services
  • ITIL and good knowledge of operations;
