Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is in charge of:

  • Manage some of the local field sales in Traditional Channel for the categories: Stationery, Lighters, Shavers and Other Products;
  • Set up clear, individual targets in line with the company objectives and sales policy together with the Field Sales Manager;
  • Motivate and challenge the team ensuring an accurate and close follow-up of individual and collective targets;
  • Coach and support on the field during regular field trips with team members (at least twice a month per person) in order to evaluate and monitor performances;
  • Analyse team performances and individual results, identify market/customer needs and propose challenging strategies for the field sales team together with clear action plans for the Field Sales Manager;
  • Organize individual quarterly and year-end evaluation meetings in order to develop the technical and personal skills of the team members;
  • Implement “best-practices” to optimize visits (preparation and negotiation, product & promotion knowledge), report; provide feedback on the market (reporting of market & competitor information) and process orders through CRM;
  • Manage directly a limited list of established customers within a specific sales area in order to develop the market share of BIC products and establish commercial objectives and business plans per customer;
  • Be involved in the selection, recruitment and integration of new team members;
  • Report to the Field Sales Manager; inform him/her about your activities, results and experiences;

Qualifications

  • Higher education, university degree with a minimum of 5 years sales experience in FMCG in Modern Mass Market or Traditional Channel;
  • Experience as Key Account Manager in a FMCG is a plus
  • Good organizational and analytical abilities;
  • Demonstrated “Win-Win” negotiations and persuasion skills;
  • Good computer skills (Analysis by IT Tools);
  • Interest in people management (7 people to manage);
  • Experience in one of our categories will be consider as a plus;
  • Good Level of English. With proficiency level as plus
  • Availability for business trips (the area includes Valencia & Galicia)
  • Driving license
