Medical Affairs is critical in ensuring that our medicines reaches the appropriate patients. GSK has committed to building a new oncology business, with initial focus on the US and selected EU markets.
To this end, the Country Medical Lead for Oncology is a critical role to contribute to the development of global, regional and country specific Medical Affairs plans, manage and develop high performing Oncology MSLs in Europe, and ensure Medical governance and compliance for oncology related activities in-country.
The Country Medical Lead role will provide overall leadership for Oncology Medical Affairs activities within country, including :
o Provide strategic input into global medical planning around areas of customer need
o Manage all country level Oncology Medical activities within their designated scope, schedule, and resources
o Support clinical research programming across the continuum (Investigator sponsored research, Cooperative Group and Collaborator research, Company Sponsored trials)
o Support key opinion leader and advocate relationship development and maintenance within the region
