The Group Privacy Office at Euronet, which is responsible for providing privacy support to the organization, seeks an experienced technical professional who will identify the risks and help develop appropriate mitigations associated with various Group digital solutions (i.
e., both web and app-based). The successful candidate will work with entities and colleagues globally and have the following responsibilities and demonstrate the qualifications described below :
Work with various lines of business throughout the organization to assess, identify the risks of, and suggest privacy-protective mitigations for proposed technologies to be used to process personal data in the delivery of a variety of offerings : Investigate existing & proposed personal data processing and produce Privacy Impact Assessments related to new and updated products, services, and internal processes.
Analyze & communicate risks and mitigations enabling the business to fulfill its objectives. Draft and review data flows, in coordination with local business & development communities.
Lead the privacy evaluations of technical & security solutions presented by third-party vendors.
Develop and deliver awareness and educational deliverables helping members of the business to recognize and react to technologies that compromise privacy.
Advance the organization's adoption of Privacy by Design, emphasizing the competitive advantages associated with Privacy Enhancing Technologies : Demonstrate an appreciation of contemporary software development (mobile and web-based) and provide advice regarding Privacy Engineering practices.
Understand and describe the use of contemporary digital security solutions. Ensure that appropriate technical measures are applied in the cross-border transfer of personal data.
Assist in the communication of the corporate privacy program to the business. Candidates are expected to demonstrate effective presentation and influencing skills.
Support the adoption and efficient use of technology-based solutions within the Group Privacy Office.
Maintain a personal program of continuous professional & technical education.
Manage a diverse workload and multiple, concurrent projects.
The successful candidate will :
Be qualified in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of five years of IT experience. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating web and app development expertise, as well as in-depth knowledge of technologies impacting user privacy (e.
g., cookies, other tracking technologies, cloud computing, dark patterns, etc...).
Have practical data privacy experience. Formal privacy training and certification e.g., an IAPP-issued certification (CIPT preferably) is desirable.
Be committed to a personal program of continuous privacy and professional education.
Have experience with and / or knowledge of various information security standards, tools, and systems.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills supported by well-developed analytical skills.
Be fluent in English; other languages are desirable.
Be highly organized and independent; capable of managing a wide range of diverse projects with minimal supervision.
