The role of Specialist Transformation Delivery has the following responsibilities :
As a Transformation Delivery Analyst you will be working alongside the Data team in Madrid, UK & India and stakeholders, based across various Vodafone Markets, to model data from the business into the new Enterprise Data Model and Semantic Layer (Project Nucleus), Vodafone’s largest Data project.
Nucleus is a multi-year, international programme delivering enhanced data and analytics capabilities on Google Cloud. You will be required to ensure that the business data meets the stakeholders needs, as Markets are onboarded onto Google Cloud.
This includes validating that data models, are aligned to the data strategy and meet local needs. You will be identifying where data exists, where data is duplicated and how best to migrate existing data products and capability from legacy to new.
contributing to the ETL and product designs where necessary. Candidates will also need to work with Data Analysts, Engineers and both Qlik Sense & Data Studio developers, based in multiple locations.
Candidates will need to have a good knowledge of visualisation and analytics tools, as well as how Business Intelligence or Data & Analytics teams operate.
They will need to understand how data organisations work, to ensure they can plan to transform local teams, where necessary to align to the new operating model.
Candidates should have strong communicating and analysis skills, as part of their role will involve onboarding new teams onto Google Cloud, which will require running training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
Fluency in English is a must.
